or International Women’s Day (March 8)
this year, the Almaguin Highlands Chamber
of Commerce, in partnership with Almaguin
Community Economic Development (ACED), set
out to recognize influential women in Almaguin,
whether they own a business, volunteer, or
break gender norms and biases. These are 3
women who were nominated multiple times,
really highlighting their positive influences in the
community. Here are their stories:
